Dunedin Coffee Company & Bakery is preparing for a reopening under new ownership. The revamped cafe will expand on the menu available previously at the Dunedin coffee shop, co-owner Jennifer Wojtecki told What Now on Thursday.

“We will have the same delicious coffee that everyone has come to love from this coffee shop,” Wojtecki said. “And we’re also going to bring back the old-fashioned scratch bakery Dunedin has been missing.”

The expanded menu will feature some changes to the cafe’s breakfast options (lunch is also to come, although not right away, Wojtecki said), along with a new selection of scratch-made pastries. The bakery will also offer custom cakes from a baker who brings a decade of experience to the table.

The location is currently under renovation. It will reopen with seating for 26 guests in the revamped space, along with four seats outside.
