According to a plan review filed with the city of Brandon late last month, a new confectionary dubbed Duran’s Bakery looks poised to take over the former Brandon’s Vegan Deli – which closed up shop back in April – located at 859 Lithia Pinecrest Rd.
A representative of Duran’s Bakery could not be reached for comment.
The company, owned by local realtor Yulia Olivo, seems to be a new incarnation of Duran Cakes, a cupcake shop that used to operate out of Tampa. However, Duran Cakes’ Facebook page has been silent since July 2021.
