Founded by Jeff and Danielle Perera in Central Florida in 2019, Jeff’s Bagel Run has been growing steadily, bringing its bagels throughout the Sunshine State, as well as to new markets in Texas, Georgia, and the Carolinas.

Jeff’s Bagel Run has grown to encompass 36 bagel shops, a number that is steadily increasing. At each location, Jeff’s Bagel Run serves up scratch-made bagels in varieties like Asiago Everything, Cacio E Pepe, Rosemary Salt, and Cinnamon Sugar. These are topped off with spread flavors like Banana Pudding, Cake Batter, Cannoli, and Chive & Onion.

As the story goes, the Pereras founded the chain when they “found themselves longing for the authentic New York-style bagels that Danielle grew up enjoying,” says the Jeff’s Bagel Run website. “Dissatisfied with the options available, they decided to take matters into their own hands.”

And now the company is taking matters into Pinellas County, whose first Jeff’s Bagel Run is set to open at 4058 Tampa Road in Oldsmar in Q2 of 2026, according to coverage by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

There, Jeff’s Bagel Run will join Park Avenue Plaza, a retail center situated near the Hilton Garden In Tampa Northwest/Oldsmar. It’s home to restaurants like Grand Harvest Buffet, Buffalo Wild Wings, Pacific Thai Cuisine & Sushi, and Poke Island Plus.

What Now reached out on Thursday to Tony Trunzo, the franchisee behind the Oldsmar location, to ask about plans for the rollout. Trunzo was not immediately available to discuss the news.
