Ford’s Garage, the official F&B licensee of its namesake car company, is set to open a new location in Davenport’s Heritage Plaza at Champions Gate, located at 8035 Osceola Polk Line Rd, according to a new construction plan review recently filed with the city.

A representative of 23 Restaurants had not returned a request for comment, or to confirm when the Davenport location might open, by press time.

With an extensive menu of signature burgers such as The Model A, The Jiffy Burger, and The High Octane Burger, as well as comfort food favorites like Mama Ford’s Homemade Meatloaf, Beer Battered Fish N’ Chips, and Buffalo Blackened Chicken Mac N’ Cheese, Ford’s Garage bills itself as “your neighborhood burger and beer joint,” with each location evoking a “1920s service station/prohibition bar with its old-style brick, dark colors, rich wood, and hand-hammered copper bar top,” according to the company’s website.

More than just an official licensee, Ford’s Garage and its connection to the iconic 20th-century American entrepreneur can be traced back to its flagship location, which opened in 2012 in Fort Meyers’ historic downtown, but a stone’s throw away from Henry Ford’s winter residence.

Ford’s Garage, which is owned by local hospitality group 23 Restaurants, currently operates 15 locations throughout Florida, as well as Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Texas.
