Founded in Winter Park in 2016, Foxtail Coffee has been growing throughout Florida (and in Georgia too), and the expansion shows no signs of stopping. Next up is Sarasota. The city’s first Foxtail Coffee will open this December at 315 N Cattlemen Road, in the West District at UTC.

“Foxtail Coffee is a different kind of franchise,” Gregory Roberts, the franchisee for the location, told What Now on Friday. “When I started going, I was immediately drawn in by the entire culture, from the local baristas at the stores to the management and ownership.”

The Cattlemen Road location will serve Foxtail’s proven menu of coffee drinks, ranging from brewed coffee and cold brews to espresso drinks like the classic Caffe Latte, along with a selection of food offerings that have included bagel and croissant breakfast sandwiches, quiches, and more.

The Sarasota location will be one of many Foxtail stores to partner with Kelly’s Ice Cream, serving Signature Flavors like Banana Pudding, Cake Batter N’ Sprinkles, Cookie Monster, and Mexican chocolate.

“What we really want is to be part of the local community,” said Roberts. “It’s not an Orlando brand in Sarasota; it’s there to represent the people of Sarasota.”
