Healthy bowl chain Fresh Kitchen appears to be preparing to launch a new location in Hillsborough County. A recently submitted plan review shows Fresh Kitchen opening at 17633 Harpers Run, Suite 101 in Lutz.

“We believe that high-quality, healthy food can be fast, fresh, and FUN,” says the Fresh Kitchen website’s About page. “Whether you’re vegan, keto-friendly, or full-on carnivore, you just point and we’ll build a bowl that’s perfect for you!”

Every ingredient at Fresh Kitchen is made in-house, providing gluten free and vegan-friendly choices, along with antibiotic- and hormone-free meats. Guests select ingredients for build-your-own bowls, choosing from Bases like Coconut Ginger Rice, Kale Slaw, and Cauliflower Potato Mash; Veggies like Lemon Garlic Broccoli, Basil Mushrooms, and Golden Spice Chickpeas; and proteins like Grilled Citrus Chicken, Chilled Caprese Tofu, and Roasted Salmon.

Fresh Kitchen is part of the Ciccio Restaurant Group family of brands. What Now reached out on Saturday to Steven Lanza, president of Fresh Kitchen and partner at Ciccio Restaurant Group, to inquire about plans for a Lutz location. Lanza was not immediately available for comment.
