Located at 123 4th Street South in Downtown St. Pete, the historic Tramor Cafeteria building will soon be home to a new golf simulator lounge and restaurant. GolfSuites City Club will open its flagship location there, according to coverage by St. Pete Rising.

“With GolfSuites City Club, we are bringing the country club into the city,” GolfSuites, Inc. Chairman and CEO Jerry Ellenburg, Chairman and CEO said in the St. Pete Rising coverage.

GolfSuites currently has three locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Lubbock, Texas; and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Opening in the the Tramor Cafeteria building, GolfSuites City Club will be partially membership-based, giving priority in its highly realistic golf simulators and its upscale restaurant to paying members. Ellenburg said the restaurant’s menu will feature “scallops, short rib, prime rib, and more.”

The golf club will boast eight Golfzon TwoVision simulators, considered top-of-the-line in terms of graphics quality and functionality. It’s expected to open next summer.

What Now reached out to Jerry Ellenburg on Friday to inquire further about the upcoming GolfSuites flagship location (especially that restaurant menu!). Ellenburg was not immediately available for comment.
