With dozens of locations open and under development all over the country, Grain & Berry is “Everyone’s favorite superfood cafe specializing in delicious handcrafted items, made with the freshest ingredients available.” Now, the fast-casual restaurant “Where Healthy Meets Delicious” is on its way to Lakeland, with a new location opening at 328 Prospect St.

The star of the show that is the Grain & Berry menu is the bowl: there’s the eponymous Grain & Berry (Organic Granola, Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries, Nutella, Peanut Butter and Coconut Shavings), the Mango Passion (Organic Granola, Mango, Pineapple, Honey, Coconut Shavings and Almond Slices), and the Good Karma (Organic Granola, Kiwi, Banana, Blueberries, Honey and Chia Seeds), along with a build-your-own approach that allows guests to imagine their own combinations.

But that’s only the beginning. There’s also a selection of Smoothies like the Vacation (Mango, Banana, Pineapple, Fresh Squeezed Pineapple Juice, and Almond Milk) and the Bean Healthy (Coffee Protein Powder, Bananas, Peanut Butter, Honey and Almond Milk), a variety of juices, and a menu of eats like Flatbreads, Quesadillas, Toasts, and Parfaits.

“At Grain and Berry, we aspire to be the ultimate destination for health-conscious individuals seeking a variety of superfood options,” the Grain & Berry website says. “We take pride in offering a wide array of nutritious and mouth-watering options.”

What Now reached out on Wednesday to franchisee Srikantkumar Patel to ask about plans for the Lakeland opening. Patel was not immediately available to discuss the news.
