This week, cult-favorite bagel chain Jeff’s Bagel Run announced that it has signed five new franchise deals, bringing its bagels to markets in Florida, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

“With this latest wave of development, the brand now has 118 locations open or in the pipeline across the United States,” says a press release.

In the Tampa Bay region, franchisee Fresh Bagel Holdings LLC is opening nine units, with Clearwater named as the first locale.

“These partners are exactly the kind of franchisees we look for—passionate operators who understand the power of community and are committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience,” Justin Wetherill of Jeff’s Bagel Run said in the press release. “We’re beyond excited to see our brand gaining momentum in new markets, especially with such strong multi-unit operators at the helm.”

Jeff’s Bagel Run serves up scratch-made bagels in varieties like Asiago Everything, Cacio E Pepe, Rosemary Salt, and Cinnamon Sugar, and they can be topped with spread flavors like Banana Pudding, Cake Batter, Cannoli, and Chive & Onion.

What Now reached out to Anthony Trunzo of Fresh Bagel Holdings LLC on Friday. Trunzo was not immediately available for comment on the Jeff’s Bagel Run news.
