With a staggering total of more than 38,000 locations worldwide, Starbucks has conquered the world of coffee. Still, the chain faced some setbacks in the beginning of this year—a nearly 2% drop in global revenue, with a 3% drop in same-store sales in the U.S. and a startling 11% drop in Chinese sales, detailed in coverage from CNN Business.

“We face a challenging operating environment,” Starbucks CEO Laxman Narasimhan said in an announcement cited by the CNN coverage. “Headwinds discussed last quarter have continued in a number of key markets, we continue to feel the impact of a more cautious consumer, particularly with our more occasional customer, and a deteriorating economic outlook has weighed on customer traffic and impact felt broadly across the industry.”

However, that doesn’t mean the end of the massive chain’s growth, which—according to St. Pete Rising—includes a new drive-thru location in Kenneth City, at 4519 66th Street N.

Launching in that 66th Street location, on the southeast corner of the intersection with 46th Avenue N in a small retail center home to a Sprouts Farmers Market, the new Starbucks will compete with both its fellow global chain Dunkin’ and the local St. Pete Bagel Co.
