A new market and cafe will soon serve the residents of the Lakeshore Club Villas in Lakeshore. This week, What Now came across plan review documents showing a new restaurant called La Isla Market & Cafe opening at 500 Club Circle, Suite A.
What Now reached out to owner Marluann Figueroa Vazquez to ask about plans for the opening. Figueroa Vasquez was not immediately available for comment.
However, a LinkedIn post published a month ago declares that “The Countdown Has Started!” (translation from the Spanish ours and best taken with a grain of salt). “Get ready to enjoy delicious sandwiches, coffee, breakfast, lunch… and best of all? We will be available on Uber Eats and DoorDash…”
The post promises an opening date to be announced later (and that bit of news doesn’t appears to have broken yet).
“I know that it will be a success, because we are filling a gap in the community,” Figueroa Vazquez’s post says. “This type of business is just what our area was needing!”
