Plant City food truck El Antojito Loco looks to be making the transition into a brick-and-mortar restaurant!

Plan review paperwork submitted by El Antojito Loco Plant City, LLC shows a restaurant by that name opening at 1107 S. Collins Street.

The food truck was previously in the news earlier this year, when BayNews9.com told the story of El Antojito Loco’s partnership with Taqueria Angel to bring food to immigrant communities where there are growing safety concerns about travel.

A description of El Antojito Loco provided to Google Maps gives plenty of hints as to what we mind find on the menu in the brick-and-mortar on Collins Street: it’s a “Marisqueira, Cevicheria, Cocteleria Mariscos Frescos y Autenticos.”

We’re expecting plenty of seafood and cocktails, in other words, which is always a good thing.

What Now reached out to Alyssa, who owns El Antojito Loco, to ask about plans for a brick-and-mortar location. Alyssa was not immediately available for comment.
