With locations in Ybor City, Lutz, and Brandon, Los Chapos Tacos is a Tampa Bay favorite where “you can find a variety of cuisines such as Burritos, Quesadillas, Guacamole & Chips, Nachos de Asada, and Burrito Bowls.”

Now, the brand is expanding to its fourth location, which will open later this spring in Wesley Chapel.

“We started our construction last Monday, and we have a ten- to twelve-week timeline,” co-owner Nicole Rodriguez told What Now on Tuesday. ”We’re hoping to open on April 21.”

Los Chapos’ menu features House Specialties like Torta Ahogada (Our version of the Guadalahara signature sandwich, a crunchy outside sourdough filled with shredded “Birria” beef and melted cheese, served with spicy sauce on the side), the Surf ‘N’ Turf Taco, and the Taco de Chicharrones (Slow braised pork belly finished on the grill with smokey Asian BBQ sauce, queso fresco, onions, and cilantro).

And that’s only the beginning: there’s a broad selection of tacos, quesadillas, burritos, burrto bowls, and desserts.

The new location will be serving up the same great menu and will also feature a bar, said Rodriguez, including a tequila selection with a variety of tiers to match your price range.

“We’re also hoping to do a lot more seafood, some fried fish and fried clams.”
