More Blaze Pizza is headed to Lutz this summer. Millennial Restaurant Group, which operates Lutz’s current Blaze Pizza location at 15456 Sierra Center Blvd., is planning to open a second Lutz location, this time at 18701 FL-54.

“With 25 locations in 3 states, including Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida, MRG is the largest franchise group in the Blaze Pizza system,” a representative of MRG told What Now on Thursday. “The restaurant group is comprised of seasoned local restaurateurs Jim Patterson, Jim Patterson II, Ryan Bridgeman, Wayne Albritton, and Collins Cogan. MRG is also the majority owner of the Blaze Pizza restaurant at Disney Springs.”

The new location will open in the retail center on the northwest corner of the intersection with Sunlake Boulevard, which is currently home to an outpost of breakfast chain First Watch. On the other side of Sunlake are eateries like Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and Osaka Express Poke Bowl Hibachi.

Opening sometime this summer, the upcoming location will be another spot for Lutz residents to enjoy Blaze’s eco- and health-conscious pizzas.

“Blaze Pizza’s commitment to using fresh sustainable ingredients is only matched by the brand’s dedication to delivering each guest with a unique pizza that truly reflects what they’re craving,” the representative said.

“Guests can combine more than 45 different options, including ingredients like roasted peppers, artichokes, roasted garlic, and plant-based chorizo, or keep it simple with a classic pepperoni and cheese pizza. With five crusts to choose from, including our signature made-from-scratch dough, a Keto crust, and cauliflower, as well as nitrate-free meats and fresh pizza sauce and drizzles, Blaze goes to great lengths to provide guests with an unmatched dining experience that meets their lifestyle.”
