Citrus Park Mall will soon be home to a new outpost of mega-entertainment center Elev8 Fun. The 125,000 square-foot, two-story indoor amusement park will feature indoor go-karting, more than 100 different arcade games (both retro and contemporary), bowling, mini golf, axe throwing, laser tag, and more.

“We’re like a Dave & Buster’s on steroids,” David Goldfarb, managing partner of Elev8 Fun, told What Now on Tuesday. “And we’re three times the size.”

In addition to all these entertainment amenities, each Elev8 Fun location is also home to The PL8 Bar & Grill, a restaurant and bar featuring burgers, flatbreads, and other handhelds like the Zesty Dill Fried Chicken Sandwich and Fish Tacos. The PL8’s signature dishes include Southern Cajun Mahi and Sweet Chili Glazed Pork Chops.

We feel like this is going to be a massive market,” Goldfarb said, adding that Elev8 Fun plans to partner with local sports teams. “We want to work alongside the Buccaneers, the Lightning, and the Rays.

Elev8 Fun has one location already operating in Sanford, and a third will open in late 2023 in Jensen Beach. Two more locations are expected to follow in Florida. You can stay up to date on Elev8 Fun news by following @elevatefunsanford on Instagram.
