Since being founded in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District nearly seven years ago, The Salty Donut has grown to serve its gourmet donuts at eight locations in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. Six more are planned to launch this year, including two in Tampa.

The Salty’s donut varieties include classics like Traditional Glazed and Boston Cream, along with more elaborate varieties like Banana Cream Pie, Maple + Bacon, and Ube Pina Colada.

The donut chain also serves up batch brew and espresso coffee drinks like the Salted Caramel Latte and the Cinnamon Cereal Milk Latte. Its cold brew also comes in flavors like Maple + Brown Sugar Cold Brew and Cold Brew + Lemonade.

After receiving recognitions and accolades, including being dubbed one of the Best Donut Shops in America by publications like Food & Wine, Tasting Table, and Thrillist, The Salty is entering into a new chapter in a new part of its home state. No information is available yet on the particular sites, but stay tuned by following @thesaltydonut on Instagram.
