The retail center on the northwest corner of South Tamiami Trail and Park Place in Venice appears to be the future home of upcoming new cafe concept Mila&Mocha Cafe. The Mila&Mocha brand currently operates as a custom creator of cakes and other treats.
“Delicious homemade treats made with love and the finest ingredients – always from scratch! I specialize in custom cakes and cake pops, creating sweet memories for any occasion,” says the Mila&Mocha Facebook page.
Now, plan review paperwork submitted by Mila & Mocha LLC shows a brick-and-mortar Mila&Mocha project opening at 2357 S Tamiami Trl, Units 1-2.
“Mila&Mocha will be a cozy, family-run and locally owned café in Venice, Florida,” co-owner Agata Glosna Niedbala told What Now in an email conversation. “Inspired by European cafés, we’ll be serving specialty coffee, fresh sandwiches/wraps, salads, and a beautiful selection of house-made Polish and American desserts — all with a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s been a dream in the making, and I’m excited to bring something unique and heartfelt to our community.”
Mila & Mocha is currently remodeling its space in advance of opening.
Opening at Tamiami and Park Place, Mila & Mocha will join a food and drink community that already includes Al’s Ice Cream Shop and American restaurant The Living Room.
