Named after the O1 Visa that brought Italian pizza chef Renato Viola to the U.S. by virtue of “Extraordinary Artistic Ability,” Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza has become a big hit in Florida, Georgia, and Texas, with well over a dozen locations currently operating and more to come. Word has been out for a while that the restaurant has plans to make its debut in the Bradenton area, but this week What Now came across submitted plan review documents that show just where they’ll be opening.

One location is planned for 7217 FL-64, Suite 101, where Mister O1 will join restaurants like Miller’s Ale House, CAVA, and Seasons 52.

The other is part of the Market at UTC shopping center, on the northwest corner of Honore Avenue and University Parkway, where Mister O1 will open at 5231 University Pkwy, Suite 111.

“Mister O1 was born from the idea that an extraordinary pizza requires the utmost attention to detail and the finest ingredients, the necessary tools for an artist to produce a masterpiece,” says the Mister O1 website. “The recipe for success was simple: Quality and Consistency. These would be the hallmarks of Chef Renato Viola’s pizzas. Mister O1 uses only the finest and freshest ingredients and most of them are imported from Italy or locally sourced. The artisanal pizza is a delicate thin crust style with very light dough, which is prepared and rests for a minimum of 72 hours into natural levitation before being served.”

Mister O1’s Extraordinary Pizzas include varieties like the Star Luca (star shaped pizza, filled with ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Italian tomato sauce, spicy salami calabrese, basil), the Elisa (mozzarella, ricotta cheese, natural honey, black pepper, white truffle oil), and the Coffee Paolo (Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella, gorgonzola blue cheese, natural honey, coffee, spicy salami calabrese).
