Just off US Highway 19 on Lemon Street, past Tony’s Appliance, a new pizza spot and “guitar bar” looks to be preparing to open its doors. Called Muckeye’s Pizzeria & Guitar Bar, it would open in the house at 5308 Lemon St, according to submitted plan review documents.

Few details are available yet about the planned restaurant. We know quite well what a pizzeria is—namely, one of the best things in the world—but what is a guitar bar?

What Now reached out on Thursday to owner Stephen George in hopes of finding out. George was not immediately available for comment on Muckeye’s, but we’re hoping for an update soon.

A website, muckeyes.com, which is still under construction, says, “Launching Soon.”

Situated between Tony’s Appliance and Monster Mix Productions, Muckeye’s would be the only restaurant on Lemon Street. Other nearby food and drink spots include Tacos El Chapo a few blocks north, and Dunkin’ a block south.

Stay turned for more details as they become available!
