The retail center on the southeast corner of the intersection between Collier Parkway and FL-54 appears to be welcoming a new frozen dessert brand into its roster of food and drink locations. Plan review paperwork found by What Now appears to show a restaurant called Chillin Shave Ice Treats headed to 1926 Collier Pkwy.

What Now reached out own on Friday to owner Huy Nguyen. Nguyen was not immediately available for comment on the details surrounding the brand.

For the moment, then, although we can’t know too much of the specifics of Chillin’s offering to come, the name does help: bring on the shaved ice. Further details around the branding, operating hours, and opening date for the Chillin Shave Ice project remain unknown for now.

The collection of retail, dining, and other locations at the Collier/FL-54 intersection includes Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park and Esporta Fitness, plus eateries like Ayoki Japan, Keke’s Breakfast Cafe, Tijuana Flats, and Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop.
