The intersection of Ulmerton Road and 38th Street will soon be home to a new Indian restaurant concept. A plan review submitted recently by Tirumala Foods, LLC shows a restaurant called India King opening in suite 107 at 3700 Ulmerton Rd.

What Now confirmed the news with owner Sharath Ambadipudi on Tuesday morning. Ambadipudi said the menu would feature familiar favorites from Indian cuisine, giving examples like chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and other chicken curries.

No further details are yet available on India King’s menu.

Situated on the southeast corner of the Ulmerton and 38th intersection, India King will join a small retail center that also houses food and drink spots like Little Greek Fresh Grill, Bangkok Fusion Cafe, and Burger King. Just across Ulmerton is Bascom’s Chop House.
