Just north of the intersection between US Highway 17-92 North and East Johnson Avenue in Haines City, a new Indian restaurant is preparing to open its doors. A plan review was submitted by GDN Foods for the new restaurant, called GDN Indian Restaurant, opening at 524 US Highway 17-92 N.
What Now confirmed the news on Wednesday with the owner, restaurateur Bharat Gali, who said GDN Indian restaurant is working toward an opening soon.
Gali, who has received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the mayor of Indianapolis, provided a menu, pictured above, which shows a selection of apps and small bites like Samosas and Butter Naan, along with rice dishes like Vegetable, Chicken, Mutton, or Prawn Biryani, plus curries like Paneer Tikka Masala and Prawns Curry.
Opening in the US Highway 17-92 location, GDN Indian Restaurant joins a community and food and drink spots based around the Johnson Avenue intersection. This includes Li Garden of Haines City, Riko Pollo, and Ricuras Aqui me Quedo.
