How many McDonald’s do you think there are in the world? It’s a funny question: there are, in fact, so many that it’s difficult to say on a given day.
“If it seems like there’s a McDonald’s everywhere you go, that’s because there is—almost,’ says a recent New York Post article. “There were about 41,800 locations of the chain restaurant in the world in 2023, according to Statista via Chowhound. To be exact, there were 41,822 locations—an increase from 2022’s count of around 40,200.”
However many it is, there appears to be one more headed to Lutz, where paperwork submitted by HMCC Inc. shows a new location opening at 18655 Pasco Business Center Way.
What Now reached out to Vivian Hernandez, one of the co-franchisees behind HMCC, Inc, which has 11 restaurants in Tampa according to its Facebook page, Hernandez Family Foods.
Hernandez declined to comment on news of a new McDonald’s in Lutz.
