Lakeland Town Center, a shopping center on the southeast corner of the intersection between East Memorial Boulevard and Lakeshore Drive in Lakeland, appears to be the future home of a new restaurant.

This week, What Now found plan review documents submitted recently by 509 Kitchen Restaurant LLC showing a restaurant project called Far Corner Kitchen opening at 943 E Memorial Blvd.

What Now reached out on Thursday to Orinal Enelus, one of the principals behind 509 Kitchen Restaurant LLC. Enelus declined to comment on the Far Corner Kitchen restaurant at this time.

This leaves us guessing, for the moment, about Far Corner Kitchen’s menu offerings and general brand profile. We’re hoping to receive more information soon.

Opening in Lakeland Town Center, across Memorial from Paramount Lakeside Inn & Suites, Far Corner Kitchen would join a food and beverage roster that includes fast-casual concepts like Checkers and Subway and the all-you-can-eat Hibachi Buffet.
