Located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Cortez Boulevard and Parkland Avenue in Brooksville, Sunrise Plaza appears to be welcoming a new taco restaurant into its retail and restaurant community. A plan review submitted by Villalongin Inc. shows Taco de Oro opening at 31078 Cortez Blvd.

What Now reached out on Friday to Jesus Cano, one of the co-owners behind Villalongin Inc., to inquire about plans for Taco de Oro. Cano confirmed the existence of the project but declined to share any details at this time.

As a result, little can be known yet about Taco de Oro’s food offerings apart from the taco in its name. Stay tuned for possible updates as more information becomes available.

Opening at Sunrise Plaza, a retail center anchored by a Winn-Dixie store, Taco de Oro would join restaurants like Beef O’Brady’s and Breakfast Station.
