The chicken wing flavor smorgasbord that is Wingstop is preparing to launch in Riverview this summer. Opening at 10273 Big Bend Road, according to plan review paperwork submitted WSFL Ten, LLC, it will be the growing city’s first Wingstop location.

What Now confirmed news of the opening on Monday with franchisee Marc Hermann. “We’re probably looking at the end of July,” Hermann said.

Wingstop is known for its wide variety of flavor profiles. On the Wingstop website, you can Find Your Flavor, be it something saucy or a dry rub. On the No Heat level, try Garlic Parmesan or Hawaiian. Dragging the slider just past Some Heat, you’ll find the Hot Honey Rub, the Original Hot sauce, and Spicy Korean Q. If you’re looking for All the Heat, you can try Atomic. (In which case, best of luck!)

“Wingstop quickly became a fan favorite when we first opened our doors in 1994,” says the Wingstop website’s About Us page. “Our proprietary recipes, outstanding food and superior customer service created a demand that could only be satisfied by more locations. And in 1997 we began offering franchises. Today we are one of the fastest-growing concepts in the country, attracting top entrepreneurs and operators with the drive and passion to own their own business.”

Opening in the Big Bend Road location, near the intersection with Lincoln Road, Wingstop joins a restaurant community that includes Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant, Village Inn, and Applebee’s Grill + Bar.
