Located at the intersection of Sixth Street South and 39th Avenue South in St. Pete, Mullet’s Fish Camp & Market will soon have a culinary sibling. Owners Brian Rose and Nick Brown are planning on opening a dessert restaurant at 3910 Sixth Street S, just across the street from Mullet’s, according to recent coverage by St. Pete Rising.

Rose and Brown told St. Pete Rising that they had originally wanted to add ice cream and other sweets to the menu at Mullet’s Fish Camp but that the restaurant lacked adequate space for it. And so was born the upcoming dessert concept, which has yet to receive an official name.

The 2,000-square-foot space will offer counter service with combined indoor and outdoor capacity for approximately 100 guests. It will offer a variety of desserts (about which we’re still waiting on the details), plus beer and wine.

What Now reached out to Nick Brown on Tuesday to inquire about plans for the project. Brown declined to comment on the project at this time.

For the time being, we’re left waiting for more information, but in the meantime, be sure to follow @mulletsfishcamp on Instagram and check out South St. Pete’s neighborhood seafood joint.
