Beloved St. Petersburg bagel shop Pete’s Bagels is continuing to expand its presence in its hometown this year. The Pete’s Bagel’s team is currently at work on the launch of a brand new cafe concept called Seymour’s.
“Coming soon to downtown St Pete,” says the brand’s Instagram page. “Part of the Pete’s family. Coffee, bagels, lunch.”
What Now reached out on Thursday to owner Steven Peterman to ask for more details about the menu that will be on offer at Seymour’s when it opens at 407 Central St (in the Snell Arcade Building, says in coverage by Creative Loafing Tampa). Peterman was not immediately available for comment, so we’ll have to wait and see!
The CL Tampa Bay coverage adds that this is not the only project the Pete’s Bagels team has in the pipeline. A new drive-thru-only Pete’s Bagels is set to open this spring at 2439 Fourth St S, also in St. Pete, sometime this spring.
There’s no word on an official opening date yet, but CL Tampa Bay quotes a social media post that says it “still looks under construction.”
