Sarasota Italian favorite Pietro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar is nearing a reopening this October, launching in a brand new location at 3809 S Tuttle Ave.

“In this industry, if you want to have a great restaurant where you touch people, you must show your passion to them,” says a statement from founder Chef Pietro. “At Pietro’s, you feel the love and care and the attention to detail. I feel strongly that it’s the people who make the difference between just a restaurant and/or a place you really enjoy dining. I wanted to create a place where you only feel like a customer once because customers become friends, and friends become family. Not just for you but for me also. We have been to births, birthday celebrations, and many other life events of many, many friends we have made over the last 15 years in Sarasota, Florida. All who have left lasting impressions on our hearts.”

A few Chef’s Favorites from the Pietro’s menu include Our Signature Pollo Mamma Lucia (Organic chicken sautéed in marsala with mushroom topped with mozzarella) and Calamari Fritti (Slice fresh, flour dusted calamari deep fried to a golden crispy brown).

“I created Pietro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar so I could feel alive again,” Chef Pietro’s statement continues. “I love this business and I love to share my life with my customers and friends and make a lasting impression on those who I serve.”

You can keep up with the reopening by following the Pietro’s Facebook page.
