A new restaurant is in the works at the intersection of Main Street and Robin Hood Lane in Dunedin. Called Clase Azul Bar & Grill, it will launch at 1056 Main St, according to plan review paperwork submitted by Clase Azul Bar & Grill LLC.

The name, Clase Azul, is also that of a super premium tequila brand, Clase Azul Tequila.

“The name Clase Azul, Spanish for “blue class”, actually derives from the initial decanter’s blue detailing and the Mexican Blue Weber agave plant, the essential ingredient in Tequila,” says a description on MasterofMalt.com.

It’s not yet known whether the restaurant is affiliated with Clase Azul Tequila.

What Now reached out on Wednesday to owner Jaquelin Satillan-Lara to ask about plans for Clase Azul Bar & Grill. Satillan-Lara was not immediately available for comment.

In its Main Street location, Clase Azul Bar & Grill would be situated just across Robin Hood Lane from Crazy Burrito Authentic Mexican Grill.
