With almost 950 locations in the US, Olive Garden is a huge contender in the casual dining space. And Florida loves it more than almost anybody: with 79 locations, the Sunshine State is second only to Texas in Olive Garden locations (Texas has 116).

Florida’s Olive Garden number 80 may just be opening in Wesley Chapel. This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by Olive Garden Holdings LLC for a new Olive Garden location at 27391 Centerline Drive.

There, Wesley Chapel residents would be able to enjoy the faithful comfort of Classic Entrées like Chicken Alfredo, Calabrian Steak & Shrimp Bucatini, Chicken Parmigiana, and Ravioli Carbonara. They’re served up alongside appetizers like Stuffed Ziti Fritta, Calamari, Meatballs Parmigiana, and Spinach-Artichoke Dip.

“At Olive Garden, we know that life is better together and everyone is happiest when they’re with family,” says the Olive Garden website’s About Us page. “From never ending servings of our freshly baked breadsticks and iconic garden salad, to our homemade soups and sauces, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

Opening in the Centerline Drive location, Olive Garden would join a food and drink community that includes restaurants like Chick’n Fun, Dairy Queen, and Rice n Beans Puerto Rico.
