Savannah, Georgia’s Saddlebags Savannah, “one of the best country bars in the state of Georgia,” is preparing to launch a sister location, Saddlebags Tampa, at 2234 E Seventh Avenue this March.

The new Saddlebags will open in a massive, 13,000-square-foot space, operating as a restaurant until 7 p.m. each night before turning into a nightclub.

“The restaurant side only seats about 200,” a Saddlebags representative told What Now on Tuesday—as if 200 were not already a considerable number. “But then there’s the club side. With both sides together, it holds about 900.”

Saddlebags Tampa will serve both as dinner and as a night out—a full-blown country nightclub and venue, with a restaurant serving a protein-heavy barbecue menu with smoked brisket, ribs, chicken wings, and more.

“We like to keep our customers happy and tipsy. Come get a beer and ride the bull for a good night out,” says the Savannah location’s website—and, yes, there will be mechanical bull at Saddlebags Tampa too.

The Savannah location is open Thursday through Sunday, although it’s not clear whether Saddlebags Tampa will follow suit. The opening on East Seventh Avenue is planned for March 1.
