A new cafe is opening in Clearwater this spring, at 943 Cleveland Street: Slow Or On-The-Go Cafe, a new concept that promises a menu featuring coffee, breakfast, and lunch. It’s a place “where friendships form, ideas are born, dreams are shared, and hope offered—a place with a purpose, supporting mental health.”

Opening on Cleveland Street, at the intersection with Booth Avenue, Slow or On-The-Go Cafe will join a food and drink community that includes restaurants like Pro Shop Pub, Top Nosh Street Food, and Mr. Submarine-Mr. Gyros.

“Even though SLOW is “just a café,” attention to detail is everything,” the cafe wrote in a Facebook post earlier this month. “From the moment you step inside, you’ll enter a bright, light-filled space where everything feels fresh, clean, positive, and uplifting. The entire café is designed in crisp, all-white elegance, creating a calm yet vibrant atmosphere that makes every visit feel like an escape from the ordinary.”

What Now reached out to owner Roy Harris on Wednesday to inquire about plans for the opening. Harris was not immediately available for comment.

Keep up with opening by following Slow Or On-The-Go on Facebook.
