Based in Lutz, Taco Time has built a following as a food truck serving authentic Mexican food. Now, it’s preparing to build on that success by launching its first brick-and-mortar restaurant. Departing from its home in Lutz, Taco Time will take up a permanent space at 7810 US-19 in Port Richey.

Taco Time’s food offerings have ranged from buy-3-get-1-free Taco Tuesday deals to the incredible Birria Pizza (!).

But, says an Instagram post published by Taco Time, “at Taco Time, the stars are our cheesy birria tacos,” Melted cheese, juicy meat, and flavor that keeps you coming back.”

What Now confirmed news of the opening with owner Jennifer Escobar on Tuesday. Escobar was not available to discuss the opening further, so it’s not yet known how Taco Time’s brick-and-mortar restaurant menu might differ from the one it has offered on the road.

Launching at 7810 US-19, Taco Time will be one of a number of restaurants situated not far from the water. They include Whiskey Joe’s, Catches Waterfront Grille, Crab Shack, and more.
