Tastes Pretty Good, the hospitality company behind Rocca and Streetlight Taco, launched its newest restaurant, Bar Terroir, this month. Described as a “petite French bistro with an expansive wine list, iconic cocktail offerings and classic Parisian fare in an intimate setting,” Bar Terroir is making a splash at 3636 Henderson Boulevard.
“Behind the scenes is a powerhouse culinary team with experience at world-renowned restaurants like Eleven Madison Park, Bresca, and Jônt,” says coverage of the opening published by That’s So Tampa. “The kitchen is led by Max McKee, former executive sous chef at Michelin-starred Rocca, while front-of-house operations are overseen by Kyle Burton, whose passion for hospitality helps create Bar Terroir’s approachable yet refined atmosphere.”
With Bar Terroir launched, Tastes Pretty Good now focuses on its next development: Oro, which will be a “tribute to the bold flavors of Spain—wood-fired grilling, traditional paella, and tapas featuring pristine seafood and imported cheese & hams.”
Oro—whose name is Spanish for gold—will open in The Rome Collective, the upcoming mixed-use development in North Hyde Park.
A representative of Tastes Pretty Good declined to comment on the Oro opening on Thursday.
