Located on the north side of Clearwater Beach, at 454 Mandalay Avenue, The Boxer Kitchen and Bar is a local favorite, open late with live music every night. And now, the Boxer is preparing to expand within Clearwater Beach, with a location opening to the south, at 207 Coronado Dr.

“We’re excited to venture out into South Beach,” co-owner Allison Brown told What Now on Tuesday. The Boxer launched in its current home back in November, and Brown says this new location won’t be the last.

Info provided to Google Maps by The Boxer describes the bar as “South Clearwater Beach’s sports bar, live music, and dining destination. Stop by for great food, cold drinks, and a fun atmosphere. We have live music every night. We also have multiple TV’s for all you sports enthusiasts.”

An opening is expected next month, Brown said. The menu at the new location will be the same one offered on Mandalay, and the location itself is spacious with room both inside and out.

“We will have extensive patio seating, with about 100 seats outside and about 70 inside.”
