After years of rumors and denials, Pasco County may be getting a Cheesecake Factory, says recent coverage by the Tampa Bay Times.
“For years, the Wesley Chapel-area message boards have been rife with jokes… What do we need in Wesley Chapel? Cheesecake Factory. What Is going into that space of Bruce B. Downs, or State Road 54, or (fill in the road)? Cheesecake Factory.”
The Cheesecake factory even became “a stock answer for what was definitely not coming to Wesley Chapel.”
Well, now the Tampa Bay Times says the company has submitted pre-application paperwork for a Cheesecake Factory at the entrance to the Tampa Premium Outlets. So the area may well be getting a Cheesecake Factory after all.
The plans detail a bar with eleven seats, a cocktail bar with 58 seats, two dining rooms with seating for 132, and 78 more seats in an outdoor patio. Plenty of space to enjoy the brand’s huge menu.
“With more than 250 items on our menu, it may be hard to believe that we make things fresh and from scratch in each restaurant – but it’s true!” says the About Us page on the Cheesecake Factory website. “Our prep kitchens are one of the busiest spots in our restaurants, and it’s where the magic begins every day.”
That menu’s formidable selection of choices ranges from Small Plates and Snacks to Flatbread Pizzas, to burgers called Glamburgers and other handhelds, to pasta dishes, steaks, and a lot more. Its cheesecakes have come in decadent varieties like Cookie Dough Lover’s Cheesecake with Pecans, Very Cherry Ghirardelli Chocolate Cheesecake, and Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple (creamy cheesecake swirled with caramel, peanut butter, Butterfingers and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups).
