“I’ve got your cheesesteak right here!”
St. Petersburg’s The Cheesesteak Company has moved on from its partnership with Brewer’s Tasting Room, and now the brand, which has been operating as a food truck in recent years, is preparing to open in a new brick-and-mortar home this summer.
“We were in search of a new location for a few years,” co-owner Lori Bradley told What Now on Monday. Asked when The Cheesesteak Company is expected to launch, Bradley said, “It probably won’t be until August.”
Although The Cheesesteak Company has left behind its partnership with Brewer’s Tasting Room, the new location will continue to serve beer. The food menu, too, should be familiar to anyone who frequented the restaurant’s previous location.
“We are going to make some upgrades, though,” said Bradley. “There were some items we couldn’t make because our kitchen was too small.”
Although The Cheesesteak Company’s bread and butter (and steak?) has always been takeout, the new location also includes a dining area with seating for about 30, along with a bar with about 16 seats—which sounds cozy to us!
You can keep up with the opening by following The Cheesesteak Company on Facebook.
