The Indigo Road, a nationwide hospitality group behind upscale brands on the East Coast, seems to be planning a new restaurant — Maru — to open at 2909 West Bay to Bay Boulevard in Tampa, according to recent public records.

“We put our teammates first, because we believe that attracting, hiring, and nurturing the right people is the best way to serve our guests and achieve the goals of all stakeholders,” the group defines as their mission statement.

“We consistently earn positive raves, win repeat business, and develop bonds of loyalty with our guests because our teammates are positively motivated, enthusiastic, confident, proud, and at peace with the choice to work on our team.”

No details exist which would articulate the menu, aesthetic, or potential opening date. Until it opens, curious readers can visit O-Ku, the group’s Jacksonville Beach sushi restaurant, for a sample of Indigo Road’s vision.
