Tiki Docks, the “South Pacific tropical escape” restaurant and bar is set to take up residence on the ground floor of Madeira Beach’s Cambria Hotel, located at 15015 Madeira Way, around May or June of next year, according to the president of parent company, 23 Restaurants, Marc Brown.
“We think Madeira Beach is a great, growing community with a lot of new development coming in and a vibrant restaurant scene,” says Brown, “So we’re excited to come in and service that community.”
According to Tiki Docks lore, “a cyclone blew seven tikis onto the banks of the Alafia River in 2016,” and “This collection of seven tikis influenced our Polynesian flavors and flair,” as well as a “few other surprises” that came along on the journey.
The result is a menu of South Pacific comfort food including Kale Pig Roast Tacos, Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, Fresh Grouper Sandwiches, Mahalo Pork Sandwiches, a Big Kahuna Crab Cake Platter, and more.
Incidentally, the Madeira Beach location is just one of three that Tiki Docks intends to open next year, with leases signed closer to Orlando, in Viera and Hamlin.
“Tiki Docks has been very successful in our first two locations – in Riverview and in St. Pete – and we’re excited to continue to grow the brand with these upcoming three locations,” says Brown, adding, “we expect to announce more sites in the future.”
