Located at 923 72nd Street N in St. Petersburg, Tiki Tim’s Pub & Grill has only been open about a year, but it’s already a hit. And now, it’s building on its growing popularity, preparing to expand with a new sister bar, called Tiki Tim’s TU, opening at 9711 66th Street N in Pinellas Park.
“We’re Just a cool FULL LIQUOR neighborhood pub with amazing Philly and Maryland inspired food!!!” says the restaurant’s Facebook page. “We are the HOME of the AUTHENTIC JUMBO Lump Maryland Crabcake and MOST AUTHENTIC Philly Cheesesteak! THE BEST OF LOCAL LIVE MUSIC!!”
The brand’s new location will be a step up in terms of space, and the menu served there will also feature some additions, Sean Killie, who owns Tiki Tim’s Tu together with Shani Eskridge, Timothy Eskridge, and Renee Reese, told What Now on Tuesday.
“There will be a couple new burgers, a Hot Italian roast beef sandwich, plus a whole new drink menu,” Killie said. And that’s only to name a few things. The rest is under wraps for now.
Meanwhile, you can still expect to find Tiki Tim favorites like the Loaded Bloody (pictured above), a Bloody Mary so loaded with extras that you get a regular Bloody Mary to sip on while your Loaded one gets built.
And what about the space? What Now asked.
“It’s bigger. Its about 5,000 square feet with the dining area and bar area all open. We’ll have two bars, one as a sort of event bar to be opened up when we have private events. The second will open all the time for bar and dining room service. In all, it’s about 140 seats in the building, barstools included.”
Coverage published last month by I Love the Burg drew attention as well to the brand’s focus on its community.
“In addition to offering a welcoming space for locals, the owners are planning to host regular fundraisers and community events at the new location, further solidifying their role as a hub for connection and good times,” the coverage said.
