With locations currently open in Holmes Beach and Siesta Key, Toasted Mango Cafe is preparing for a comeback in Sarasota. The local breakfast-and-lunch spot will return to the area with a Downtown Sarasota location, set to open at 1371 Boulevard of the Arts.
This news comes a while after the brand’s previous Sarasota location, at 430 N Tamiami Trail, closed its doors.
“At The Toasted Mango Cafe we want you to enjoy a full dining experience, delicious fresh food fast, in a clean, cheery restaurant, served by friendly helpful people, at a reasonable price,” says the Toasted Mango website. “We feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful staff of family and friends. People who take pride in who they are and what we’ve become as The Toasted Mango Cafe.”
Toasted Mango’s breakfast menu includes the Toasted Mango Special (two eggs, choice of French toast or pancakes, two strips of bacon and home fries), Homemade Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, and the Award Winning Toasted Mango Waffle.
On the lunch side are the Sarasota BLT (A Classic with a twist! Loaded with crispy bacon, crunchy iceberg lettuce, garden fresh tomato, and fresh sliced avocado), the Roasted Turkey Mango Wrap (Our house-roasted turkey, with fresh avocado, lettuce, Jack cheese, and our mango salsa), and the Toasted Mango Blackened Chicken Salad.
What Now reached out to co-owner Kimberly Duffy on Thursday to ask about the details of Toasted Mango Cafe’s Sarasota return. Duffy was not immediately available for comment.
