Tommy Bahama has food and beverage locations all over the country, with restaurants and bars operating from Hawaii to California, to Florida, to New York. The apparel brand’s food and beverage footprint looks to be continuing on its growth path: a recently submitted plan review indicates a new location of Tommy Bahama’s Marlin Bar brand may be headed to Lakewood Ranch, opening at 6562 University Pkwy #110.
Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar’s menus have included signature cocktails like the Baja Margarita (Sauza Commemorativo Añejo, Cointreau, Grand Marnier, Scratch Sour, Lime); the Raspberry Jalapeño Paloma, with Milagro Silver, raspberry, lime, and cane syrup; and much more.
On the food side, menus have featured snacks like World Famous Coconut Shrimp, Hurricane Tots, and Ahi Tuna Mini Tacos. Normal-sized taco varieties have offered proteins like Carnitas, Mahi Mahi, and Filet Mignon, and other handhelds have included All-American Burger Sliders and “Nashville” Hot Chicken Sliders, salads and bowls, plus desserts like Key Lime Pie.
The University Parkway location is situated near the intersection with Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. Opening there, a new Marlin Bar would join nearby restaurants like Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Owens Fish Camp.
What Now reached out early this week to Nick Ragni, Senior VP of Restaurant Operations at Tommy Bahama. Ragni was not immediately available for comment.
