What Now reported at the end of 2024 on plans for White Wolf Specialties, a new restaurant from the hospitality company that brought Tampa concepts like Rocca and Bar Terroir. At the time, available details about the concept were minimal, a quote from the Tastes Pretty Good Hospitality website then describing it as “a multi-faceted culinary destination featuring a neighborhood pizzeria with a new American menu, bakery, cafe, market and rooftop bar.”
In the intervening year, some changes have been made to the White Wolf concept. It’s now described on the website as “a rustic encore to Rocca’s cuisine — celebrating Tampa’s Italian heritage with handmade pastas, regional Italian dishes, and Italian-American classics.”
And as it turns out, this only a part of what Tastes Pretty Good Hospitality has in store for the site. Coverage published by the Tampa Bay Times says the restaurant—which is now called simply White Wolf—is “slated to open in May at a new development off Westshore Boulevard.” But in addition to White Wolf, you’ll also find, on the rooftop, another new concept called Carnivore Club: a “28-seat chef’s counter” that “will open on the rooftop above White Wolf in July and focus on wood-fired grilled meats.” The Tastes Pretty Good website promises “meticulously sourced meats—many dry-aged in-house” and says “it’s a bold, immersive experience for carnal enthusiasts.”
But even that isn’t all! Alongside Carnivore Club will be Bar Spuntino: “Located on the rooftop above White Wolf, Bar Spuntino brings the Italian aperitivo lifestyle to life with light bites, al fresco spritzes, and laid-back live music. Casual, spirited, and made for golden-hour gatherings.”
We can’t wait to see how it all turns out! (And where! The Westshore Boulevard address has yet to be announced.)
