Land O Lakes-born small-batch beer brewer Welton Brewing Company & Oyster Bar is working towards a reopening after closing its original location. The brand’s new home will be in Pinellas Park, where a recently submitted plan review places it at 8098 66th St N #2.

An opening was announced by the brand on social media last fall, calling for an opening in the fall that has since been delayed until this winter. What Now reached out on Friday to co-owner Sean Welton to ask for an update about the brand’s reopening plans. Welton was not available to comment by deadline.

“Our mission to create a welcoming and vibrant gathering place for our community remains unwavering, and we are more determined than ever to bring you an exceptional experience…” said a recent Instagram post by the brand. “Cheers to the future, and to many memorable moments ahead at Welton Brewing Company!”

In its original home at 2624 Land O Lakes Blvd, Welton Brewing Co. & Oyster Bar was voted Tampa Bay Best of the Best Seafood 2022, according to the brand’s Instagram page. It is not yet known what changes might be expected for the new location opening in Pinellas Park.
