The retail center on Stadium Drive just south of Market Square Drive in Zephyrhills looks to be debuting a brand-new restaurant concept. It’s called, fittingly, Zephyr Chills, and plan review paperwork recently submitted by Zephyr Chills Ventures LLC shows it opening at 6536 Stadium Dr, Suite H.
Details on the new restaurant are still under wraps for now. What Now reached out on Friday to owner Darrell Lake to ask about plans for Zephyr Chills. Lake was not immediately available to discuss the news.
This does leave us guessing about the Zephyr Chills menu. Its evocative name could refer to something chilly (namely, something frozen and sweet, perhaps?), or we could be talking about a place to chill. For the moment, we’ll have to wait and see.
Opening in the Stadium Drive location, Zephyr Chills would join local businesses like Tacho Barbershop and Infinity Hair Salon and Massage, along with nearby restaurants like Sonny’s BBQ and Plaza Mesxico Mariscos Restaurant Bar and Grill.
