7 Spice Bistro, an Indian and Hakka fusion restaurant known for its traditional-meets-modern approach to South Asian cuisine, is getting ready to open in Mississauga.

While the exact address and opening date have not yet been announced, the company has begun teasing on social media the opening of a second location soon in Mississauga. The company’s second location follows the original Brampton restaurant, located at 30 Gillingham Drive, which has built a strong customer base since its opening.

While an opening timeline has not been confirmed, diners can expect a similar offering of signature Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes, including curries, tandoori platters, biryanis, and vegetarian options. The concept also includes dine-in, takeout, catering, and food truck services.

Founded by Executive Chef Maan Singh and co-owners Amritpal Arora and Kunal Minocha, 7 Spice Bistro has operated in Brampton for over seven years. Singh, who brings 25 years of culinary experience, has developed a menu rooted in Indian tradition with influences from Hakka cuisine. The restaurant has become a neighborhood staple, frequently cited for its consistent quality, diverse menu, and inclusive dietary offerings.

The Mississauga expansion aligns with the company’s growing presence in the GTA food scene, including partnerships with major delivery platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash. The brand also supports a robust catering arm that services weddings, corporate events, and festivals across the region. A food truck extension brings the restaurant’s signature offerings to mobile and private events throughout the year.

Menu items include a variety of regional Indian dishes such as Lamb Biryani, Handi Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Goat Curry, alongside Hakka-inspired items like Veg Manchurian and Szechuan Fried Rice. The restaurant is known for accommodating vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diners.

“7 Spice Bistro is more than just a restaurant, it’s a celebration of Indian culture and cuisine,” according to the company’s website. “We believe in using authentic ingredients and traditional cooking methods to create dishes that are not only delicious but also nourishing and healthy.”
