Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay, a fast casual burger concept founded by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, is getting ready to open its first Canadian location at The Well in downtown Toronto at 486 Front St W.

The company’s new flagship restaurant is scheduled to open in Summer 2026 at the mixed-use development, according to a press release. The Canadian expansion is being led by Falcon Capital Group, the brand’s franchise partner, and marks the first step in a broader growth strategy across the country, as previously reported by What Now. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the Toronto restaurant will introduce customers to the brand’s signature burgers, shakes, and made-to-order menu items.

The Well spans multiple city blocks in the heart of downtown and features a mix of retail, dining, office, and residential space. The lease for Bobby’s Burgers was completed in collaboration with Allied and RioCan, both major players in Canada’s commercial real estate sector. The development has quickly become one of the city’s most closely watched projects, drawing national and international brands. This will be an excellent landing space for the company’s Canadian debut given the area’s steady foot traffic and built in customer base.

Bobby’s Burgers currently operates 10 locations, with additional restaurants in development as part of its U.S. and international franchise expansion. The Toronto opening will serve as the brand’s Canadian flagship and set the tone for future locations. The concept was co-founded by Bobby Flay, who has more than 40 years in the restaurant industry. The company describes its offering as an Unbeatable Burger Experience centered on quality and consistency.

The menu features signature made-to-order burgers, including the Bacon Crunchburger, along with fries and spoon-bending milkshakes. Each item is developed to reflect Flay’s approach to bold flavors and carefully sourced ingredients. The concept focuses on a streamlined selection built around classic American burger staples.

“This is an exciting moment for us as we bring Bobby’s Burgers to Canada, beginning in a city that’s known for its vibrant and diverse food culture,” Chef Bobby Flay said in a press release “Toronto is one of the world’s greatest food cities, and we’re proud to bring our burgers, shakes, and bold flavours north of the border. We can’t wait to welcome our guests this summer.”
