Fiiz Drinks, a Utah-based specialty soda chain known for its customizable “dirty sodas,” has officially launched in Canada with its first location at Dufferin Mall in Toronto.

The store opened as a compact 200-square-foot kiosk, strategically chosen for its proximity to high schools and strong Gen Z demographics, according to Retail Insider. Founder Brands, which holds the exclusive Canadian rights to Fiiz, plans to open up to 100 locations over the next decade through a franchise-based model. The brand’s unique offering and efficient real estate model make it appealing to both landlords and potential franchisees. Adam Corrin, Co-Founder of Founder Brands, tells Retail Insider that while additional corporate-owned stores are likely, the national rollout will be “largely franchisee-led.” It’s unclear exactly where Founder Brands plans to expand this concept in Canada, but FiiZ already operates more than 70 locations in the U.S.

Fiiz Drinks is the latest addition to the expanding portfolio of Founder Brands, a company rapidly establishing itself as a key player in Canada’s franchise and lifestyle retail scene. Alongside Fiiz, Founder Brands also holds the exclusive Canadian rights to PayMore, a tech resale franchise catering to the booming second-hand electronics market. The company further diversifies its offerings with Gem Studio, a contemporary jewelry concept, and Graze Craze, a premium charcuterie box brand appealing to food lovers and event hosts alike. This curated mix of innovative and trend-forward concepts positions Founder Brands as a leader in introducing niche, high-growth retail experiences to Canadian consumers.

“This is a category that’s already buzzing on social media in the U.S., especially with Gen Z and millennials,” Corrin said in an interview with Retail Insider. “We saw a white space in the Canadian market—nobody’s doing custom soda here like this—and we knew we had something special. We’re focused on building unique, underserved concepts in Canada, and we’re always on the lookout for the next great opportunity. If you have ideas, we’re listening. For now, our focus is on scaling FiiZ’s presence and supporting early franchisees. We’re excited to bring this fresh new experience to more Canadians—and we’re just getting started.”
