Lyla’s House, a cafe and wine bar operating in Ontario, is getting ready to open a new location in Oakville at 326 Kerr St.
The company’s third location is set to open in the former home of Mary’s Muffins, according to YourCityWithin. This new location will join the company’s existing cafes in Georgetown and Toronto. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the new cafe is expected to open in Spring 2026, around April. Customers can expect a mix of cafe staples, small plates, and a curated wine selection.
“We are creating your third place,” according to the company’s website. “You know, that sweet spot between work and home where you can just be. Whether you’re grinding through Monday emails or lounging on a Sunday afternoon, we’ve got your corner ready. At Lyla’s House, you’re not just a customer. You’re part of the story we’re creating, one perfectly crafted coffee and genuine conversation at a time.”
Lyla’s House first opened in Georgetown before expanding to Toronto at 2196 Bloor St W. The brand has built its presence around offering both daytime cafe service and an evening wine bar atmosphere. Its growth into Oakville marks the company’s third location in Ontario.
The concept centers on creating a space that encourages customers to slow down and gather. Through its website and social media, the company emphasizes human connection and in-person hospitality. The Oakville location continues that approach, carrying forward the same format that has shaped its first two cafes.
Menu offerings include espresso-based drinks, teas, specialty beverages, bagel sandwiches, and lunch items. Featured drinks have included an Iced Cherry Chai with Cherry Cold Foam, a Turmeric Latte, an Iced Earl Grey Matcha, an Iced Espresso Tonic and Orange, and a Lavender Mint Lemonade. Food options range from a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese bagel and Tuna Salad Toast to a Brie and Prosciutto Baguette and grilled sandwiches. In the evening, customers can order wines by the glass or bottle, along with beer and spritz selections such as a Hugo Spritz.
